The initial situation
The club's previous website, operated with the Wordpress CMS system, was getting on in years and no longer met the club's latest requirements. A restructuring was necessary to optimize the administration of the numerous teams and communication with club members and Volero fans.
Our approach
The first step of our project was to develop a detailed concept for the new website. Given the number of teams involved, this was a bit of a challenge, but one that our team overcame with flying colors. After the concept phase, we decided to switch to HubSpot's CMS system because HubSpot offers a more flexible and user-friendly platform. HubSpot also takes over the hosting and maintenance of the website on its platform, including security updates and technical support. Which is another big advantage over Wordpress.
The implementation
The new website has a fresh, modern design and an intuitive user interface that makes it easy for users - whether club members or fans - to navigate. Particular attention was paid to the presentation of the various teams, the club's board members and the various coaches.
The result
The feedback from club members, the board and the coaches was overwhelmingly positive. The new website has a more modern look and the club's visibility has been increased thanks to good SEO work. The new CMS system from HubSpot makes it easier to manage the website and blog on a daily basis. Other functionalities such as the newsletter tool enable easy communication with club members and Volero fans.
Future prospects
The new website provides the volleyball club in the Bernese Seeland with a solid basis for further growth and strengthening its community both online and offline. We at MS Partners GmbH are delighted to have helped shape this path and are looking forward to the club's future sporting successes.
